‘Trading Places’ is a design that speaks of positivity, hope and transformation. Following a period of dereliction, a less than successful pub in Tunbridge Wells was transformed into a warm and welcoming environment. As such The Trading Post is a credit to the management team and the support of the many new visitors that this charming neighbourhood pub now enjoys.

As a building, it has a shape and collection of details that make it perfect for a papercut in our ‘Slice Of Life 2014’ collection, with the weird and wonderful, almost random shape of the roof, being a special delight to look at and a challenge to cut. And let’s not talk about the writing on the sign, and the original poem, which sums up the miracle of the transformation from dump into divine.

Signed by the artists, this A3 sized one-off white on black original is back mounted on archival quality mountboard and framed in a black, custom-made solid wood box frame.
