Put your hands in the air

‘Put your hands in the air’ features the inside of the NME best small music venue, Tunbridge Wells Forum, and the magic of music brought by up and coming national band Spector.

Another one of our experimental designs, it was the first to feature the inside of a building and not the outside (although we have of course created a wonderful papercut of the outside, now sold!) What intrigued us most about this design was trying to capture the complexity of the interaction between performer and crowd – the hands in this case were the secret to unlocking it.

Once again the challenge was in knowing what to NOT include in order to get just the right elements to make the design work. The result is a crisp, clean snapshot that captured a moment perfectly.

Signed by the artists and back mounted on archival quality mountboard, this striking A3 black on white one-off papercut comes in a black, solid wood custom-made box frame.
