The most accidental of our designs to date, this truly unique collage based on the overspray from our ‘Trust your heart’ original came out of nowhere and stunned us both.

As we’ve said, each overspray (the imprint left from when each original papercut is sprayed with acrylic paint) is as unique as the original papercut. More so at times because not every overspray is usable.

This particular piece arose because a sepia test print of a union jack image was to hand and we thought it would be fun to see what an overspray would look like on another image. We were both amazed at how good it looked. We then thought it would look float mounted in one of our box frame but at the last minute, Chris decided to add the final spray border on the mountboard while perfectly finalised the piece. It has been a firm favourite ever since and is a true one-off.

Signed by the artists, ‘Trust your heart II’ is a genuine 1/1 overspray on a printed background, back mounted on archival quality mountboard complete with acrylic hand sprayed border design and framed in in a black, custom-made solid wood box frame.
