Bass Lamp

Completely unique, featuring and signed by James Livett, ‘Bass Lamp’ features the face of bass in up and coming local band, The Standard Lamps.

Along with the papercut of Mike Wilton entitled ‘Head Lamp’, ‘Bass Lamp’ is one of the most collectible designs in our portfolio. Anyone interested in ‘Rhythm Lamp’, the original of Matt Bennie, the bands’ awesome drummer, alas that was sold the first day it was displayed. (And this was before the band had gone on to tour with The Who or become the backing band for Mark Morris of the Bluetones’ fame.)

The essence of ’Bass Lamp’ is its elegance and simplicity. We were honoured to have the Standard Lamps play at our Slice of life exhibition Private View night and it’s an honour to celebrate them in our art.

Signed by the artists and back mounted on archival quality mountboard, this one-off A4 black on white papercut comes in a black, solid wood box custom-made frame.

Dimensions: 310 mm (w) x 390 mm (h)

(We recognise that some lucky person might want to own the full set of Standard Lamps original papercuts so on this rare occasion, we would be willing to do one more original ‘Rhythm Lamp’ cut. Please contact us if you are interested.)
