The inspiration for ‘Death Vader’ came from the hugely positive response we had to our first neon pink ‘Day of the Dead’ commission and also the launch of the latest Star Wars film, “The Force Awakens”.

Another one of our experimental designs, we wondered what it would be like to combine the unmistakeable shape of Darth Vader’s mask with a traditional sugar mask. We then spent ages investigating what elements from the Star Wars series of films we could use to comprise the mask. After that it was just the not insignificant matter of pulling all these design elements into ‘Death Vader’

Signed by the artists and back mounted on archival quality mountboard, this striking A3 black on white one-off original design papercut comes in a black, solid wood custom-made box frame.
