This is one of a series of three mixed media papercuts, inspired by the cliff top beauty at Birling Gap in East Sussex.

This original hand cut design of tangled grasses and thorns is cleverly float mounted against an original, colourful pastel painting of the sun going down over the cliffs, which allows beautiful shadows from the intricate design to be cast onto the background.

‘Tangled Sunset’ is a striking piece which was designed following a walk along the cliffs at the end of a sunny winter’s day.

Signed by the artists, this one-off, mixed media original is float mounted on an original pastel painting and framed in a black, solid wood custom-made box frame.
