This is one of a series of three mixed media papercuts, inspired by the cliff top beauty at Birling Gap in East Sussex.

This original hand cut design features tangled grasses and thorns, and is currently the only layered designs in our collections. The two intricate papercuts, one black and one white, have been layered together and back mounted onto an original pastel painting of one of our striking sunburst designs.

‘Tangled Sunburst II’ is a beautiful, eye-catching piece which captures the stunning beauty of the natural world around us and the promise of the sun on our skin on a cold winter’s day.

Signed by the artists, this one-off mixed media original is backmounted on an original pastel painting and framed in a black, solid wood custom-made box frame.
